Black bedroom

When I first set foot on our house, there were two things that really attracted me to it, the hallway and the gigantic master bedroom. We are in the process of tackling both (plus the garden!) but the bedroom is nearly there (we just have to replace the old Ikea cabinets)

Here’s how the bedroom looked BEFORE- the owner had pushed the bed into one corner, next to he radiator…

And this is the layout we have now:

I toyed with painting the walls all shades of grey- and ended up painting it off-black (Railings)

and here’s the end result (check out those wooden floorboards!)

After two weeks of fighting, this morning the younglings were happily enjoying each other’s company

now all I ask for is for them to have babies

I’ve been living on the E postcode for 4 years now. And a few months ago we bought our first house here. I don’t have a strong attachment to this part of town- although i like how different and mismatched it is compared to the west. Makes every time i walk around Kensington feel like I’m in a different, posher, older London…

My boyfriend Michael thinks that it would be a good idea to start this by telling the world that I had homemade pizza for dinner today. And that I bought an overpriced iPhone. Although I disagree on the first and would like to go on and on about the second, this is how my first blog should start:
